I know that we all could use a little self-care and patience from time to time. In today's blog, I would like to speak on ways we can use healthier eating to go with our mental health programs. These tips are my personal go-to's when I need to calm down from a day of busy work, errands, or physical overload. When you have a family, sometimes the thought of getting everything done in one day can overwhelm you. Then suddenly, you notice that you forget to take your meds. I like to eat a good meal and take my meds daily. I eat healthy fruits and vegetables to help my mental energy be less foggy and more alert. Exercise is another way to help you stay healthy. I look forward to sharing my journey with you on my live broadcast. Most importantly, you must remember to take your prescribed medication as directed and give it a chance to be effective. Sometimes you can't eat your favorite foods and will have different cravings. But don't give up, as most side effects are temporary. But talk to your doctor when medical changes arise.
